Providing Acupuncture on Bainbridge Island

Deborah Houseworth is a preferred provider for Kaiser, Aetna and Triwest, and she bills these companies on your behalf. It is always helpful to contact your insurance company before your appointment to verify in network coverage and to determine any deductible, copay, or coinsurance you will need to pay at time of service, as well as any precertification that may be necessary.   It is also important to ask if you will be covered for the specific reason for your visit (i.e.--the diagnosis for the health challenge that is bringing you in). If you are insured by another company in Washington state, it is likely that you have insurance coverage for acupuncture. If out of network, full payment is required at time of service. Deborah can provide superbills for out of network coverage so that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.  

Insurance does not cover herbal consulations or herbs. All non-covered services, copays, coinsurance, and contributions toward your deductible are paid at time of service. We can accept payment in the form of personal check or cash. We will provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for the purpose or reimbursement.
